The studio is in a dedicated room of the house and has recording booth, sound treatment and all the toys for creativity. Much of the furniture is custom made by myself to fit the needs I have. The room is smoke/dust free and cleaned weekly to maintain the equipment. There is the main console desk and dedicated PC with a secondary PC for clients to browse the internet and secondary tasks.

The Freelance Soundlabs Studio is available for collaborative and solo work. We can work with clients to design and deliver the sound required or clients can hire the studio space and equipment to record their own ideas with our assistance. The main use of the studio is for us to design and produce sound effects and compositions. 

We are available to assist in any sound tasks you may have and our rates start from as little as $25 an hour and even less if you are Uni/Film student and we strive to make the experience affordable so for longer ongoing projects we will try and offer a bulk price over hourly rates. 

Operating hours are flexible and just some of the possible tasks we can perform are:

• Producing drum beats/breaks in many styles
• Backing music and ideas
• Original musical compositions for film and games
• SFX recording and design for any project
• Mixing of audio
• Sampling and recording from any audio source
• Recording and restoration of tape / records
• Recording of vocals, instruments and sound effects
• Mixing and mastering of multi-track recordings
• Professional mastering and mixdown (via experienced mix engineers)
• Voice over and ADR based audio

We accept audio via email and also working with local artists within our studio. We have a huge catalogue of sounds and musical compositions to assist with and can put together anything you may require. We have connections to musicians, mastering engineers and other recording studios locally and are more than happy to put you in touch with the right people for your needs. 

We also offer training and coaching with hands-on for beginners that simply want to see if working with audio, DJing or producing is to their interest.
