Max4Live is a scripting addon for Ableton which allows programmers and developers to create their own Live devices. This can be anything from instrument and effect devices to complete script devices for controllers and hardware. There are thousands of useful tools that can assist any user to achieve what they are looking for. This site is a community hub for sharing these devices. |

If you are more into live performance/DJing and you like to use Live then this may very well be a site for you. Isotonic Studios offers Max4Live scripts for Live that add extra performance features to controllers such as the APC and Launchpad. We don't use these in our setup but well worth a look in for any performer or Live user. |

Native Kontrol aims to provide scripts that can "supercharge" your Ableton controllers by adding a host of high end features. There are scripts available for Launchpad, APC, MPD, Push and more. These scripts offer both studio and performance features and can even allow some controllers (such as Push) to work with other DAWs. Well worth a look. |

This is a great site run by one of Abletons top Forum members Tarekith. You may see his handle around on many forums as he seems to be pretty active and he offers complete mixing and mastering services with a load of background experience. In addition to this you will find heaps of useful documents covering all kinds of music topics. Great for people getting started. |

Tom Cosm is a long time Ableton user and has a site that offers a wealth of information for new and experienced users. He is always busy with new tutorials and he is a guy that knows his stuff. Plenty of free material there but subscribe to access some of the top tutorials and materials. For any beginner it's a great place to start.

MacAbleton is aimed at the MAC Ableton user spcifically though has a lot of useful information. The sites owner "Kennyh" is a passionate and dedicated Live user who is only too happy to help where he can. One of the main aims of the site is to offer tips and tricks to users with dificulties using the mouse. Some useful info there for sure. |
DAW Software Links

If you are looking to create music but don't have money for software, consider Buzz Tracker. This is a FREE tracker based DAW that comes with loads of instruments and effects and supports VST too. PC only but I used this software from 2005-2010 and my 2006 Demo Album was completely composed using this software. Still around and still going strong! |

One of the biggest forums available for anything music related. Discuss anything about a spcific DAW,Instrument, Software Plugin, hardware etc. Lots of very good information and a great community. |

Another massive resource for DAW related anything. Lots of discussions about hardware and plugins. Just be aware you can get lost for days in this place. If you suffer from gear lust then best to not spend too much time on this forum. |

Some great tutorials on production as well as up to date information about hardware and software of all kinds. Easy to navigate and free information is always great. You can also find some free downloads of loops and samples. |
